Scheduled releases allow you to:

Publish multiple stories simultaneously
Coordinate product launches
Schedule content for specific dates/times

Basic Scheduled Publishing

Single Story Schedule

Schedule story 123456 to publish on December 1st, 2024 at 9:00 AM EST

Multiple Stories Same Time

Schedule all stories in the "product-launch" folder to publish
on January 15th at 10:00 AM PST

Release Coordination

Creating a Release

Create a release called "Q1 2024 Product Launch" containing:
- All stories in /products/new-2024/
- All stories tagged "q1-launch"
Schedule for February 1st, 2024 at 8:00 AM EST

Managing Release Content

For the "Q1 Launch" release:
1. Show me all stories included
2. Check which ones are ready (not in draft)
3. Identify any missing required fields
4. Confirm all have been reviewed

Common Release Scenarios

Product Launch

Product launch checklist:
1. Product pages ready in /products/new/
2. Blog announcement in /blog/
3. Landing page updated
4. All scheduled for March 1st, 9:00 AM

Verify all are ready and schedule them.

Seasonal Content

For Halloween 2024 content:
1. Find all stories tagged "halloween-2024"
2. Schedule to publish October 1st
3. Schedule to unpublish November 1st

Weekly Blog Schedule

Schedule blog posts for next month:
- Week 1: Publish on Mondays at 9 AM
- Week 2: Publish on Wednesdays at 10 AM
- Week 3: Publish on Fridays at 11 AM

Best Practices

Test before scheduling - Preview content before setting publish dates
Buffer time - Schedule 5-10 minutes apart to avoid server load
Timezone clarity - Always specify timezone explicitly
Backup plan - Have manual publish plan if automation fails
